4. I noticed that the WafflePro lid is loose, why?
This is a "floating top plate", a feature that permits the lid to adjust as the waffle rises maintaining a uniform thickness as the waffle bakes and ensuring quick and easy clean-up when necessary.

7. Will I really get waffles every 90 seconds?
Yes, on the "Crispy Exterior/Moist Interior" setting, a typical waffle will be ready in 90 seconds. We invite you to time it.

On the "Uniform Texture" setting, it will take about twice as long to bake a waffle since it's designed to bake the waffle at lower temperature for a longer period of time.

8. Why do I need a beeper in addition to the green ready light to tell me when the waffle is done?
The beeper on the WafflePro allows you to do other things in the kitchen or adjoining rooms while the waffle is baking. You don't need to hover over the waffle maker. This feature is particularly handy in the morning when everyone is in a hurry and many tasks have to be done.

9. Can the WafflePro be stored upright?
Yes, the WafflePro can be stored easily in an upright position to conserve space. The cord wraps conveniently underneath the base (see instruction manual).
